Damaged daughter board

Hi there

There is a msata SSD. The I/o daughter board strip is connected across the daughter board. I didn't read the manual and replace the SSD component and now the camera and the two USB port and not working on the right hand side of the laptop anyhow.

Please advice

How u replace new ssd? Clone or just swap and reformat? If its latter, then try install back the drivers.

Remove the daughter board to mother board io strip without removing battery.
The daughterboard component is damaged, 2 usb port,one camera, one fan

Then u can either enquire back with maker which will cost a lot (they may charge u both mobo changed) or try taobao/aliexpress if you know how to change.

You have to see if it is the cable or the board is faulty.
Usually the cables are generic, transmitting only electric signals. for those kind of cables, you can make one on your own.
If the daughter board itself is faulty, then order one from taobao and change.

The cable is faulty.
There was a pin tilt down to 90 degree when I pull out the cable
Now that I tilt back the daughter board is working fine again.
Too bad before that I already placed order with Ali express for a 12 usb cable already.
