This lightning cable sucks seriously....its flimsy as hell and breaks so damn easily... and its freaking ex to replace one. My original cable lasted only around 6mths and it stopped working coz it broke at the lightning end. I dont want to spend my money on such cable that only lasted a few months.

I tried OEM cables from Qoo and they were not much better. Though they were dirt cheap but the most they can only last 1-2 weeks.

Now i am only left with 1 original cable from my ipad mini (my ip5's cable is spoilt). All my OEM cables broken.

Seriously hope Apple improve on the quality and workmanship of their lightning cable for their next iphone/ipad releases.. Getting damn frustrating having to replace lightning cables whether original or OEM which doest even last long. :vijayadmin::vijayadmin:

Seriously, there were tonnes of bad reviews too: http://store.apple.com/sg/reviews/ME291ZM/A/lightning-to-usb-cable?fnode=45&p=1&rs=mostUseful

User problem lor.

No problem since day 2 of launch.

its not user problem..just look at the number of complains on the apple store..

anyway 1-1 exchange is too much of a hassle coz there is only one place(QCD@TaiSeng) to exchange it and only during office hours:vijayadmin:

my iphone 5 and mini cable still going strong from day 1 without any issue. end of the day is how the user handle the items. as mention from the above brothers here, problem lies with the end user. its hard to accept the facts but face it though. no hard feelings my man. :s12:

Using all OEMs from Qoo10, killed 6, as I'm always on the move and using them, ordered about 30 or so, think reported deaths about 10 or so.

Cheaper than original and less the hassle.

User problem. Using the cable since day 1 of launch and no problem.

User problem. And you can always get someone else to 1-1 exchange with their telco too.

I am sorry to say that what some commentators above have said are true; it could be the way you use the cable ? =/

I too don't have any issue with my lightning cable..

And even my old iphone4 cable is still functioning.. Albeit is isn't a lightning cable..

hey guy, try to keep maintain your original apple lightning cable, as long as your phone is under warranty, you can exchange till your jaw drop. I got my lightning cable and ear pod exchanged at Singtel (Somerset). Of course 1to1 exchange on original only.

Every new IOS patches it will silently block those 3rdparty, some lucky one will escape, yah ppl will said can JB, or better clone cable will come, anyway it up to individual... ;)

Good luck for those using clone on coming IOS7 :D

Not to start a new thread, but my lightning cable died.

So do I go back to my telco, or any service centres?

Thank you.
