For eg i buy 10k 3 years rider. It'll lead me to deposit via enets or paynow but i select eNets.
As my initial deposit of $50 is there, so i only deposit 10000-49 = $9951

In total my balance after depositing 9951 +50 (already inside earlier on)
Is 10001.

Then i use that to purchase 10k 3 year plan. Balance left $1 inside to keep the main plan active.

Are you saying you top up the Dash Pet 2 balance to 10,001 and then buy the plan?

Different product, people who want PET 2 fixed wants to lock in the rate. Chocolate finance are for people who just wants liquidity. Not comparing like for like.

Yes like a fixed deposit, but
- cannot withdraw early without penalty
- if you pass on your estate would not get the 3% p.a., but get the death benefit instead
- if the insurer collapse, you get back surrender value instead of full principal within the 3 years. More likely for them to be novated to another insurer in this unlikely scenario

Most of such insurance plans, it's first come first served, no body knows when it'll end or when they meet their quota.

Dash pet 2 needs $1 to maintain the main plan. The riders are "add on" to this $1 main plan. With this $1 main plan you can buy as many riders as you can subject to a minimum of $1k per rider. Total riders to buy can add up to 200k that's the cap.

Dash wallet and Dash Pet 2 is 2 different thing. I don't top to Dash wallet. I only open Dash pet 2 and eNet $50 in to get it activated

the thing is, I used $50 to open/activate PET 2 today... was not sure how to get the 3-year plan. if I want to buy $10,000, I should top up my PET 2 account with $10,000 - $50 + $1 = $9,951 correct? then proceed to buy $10,000 plan and pay by using PET 2 balance.
