I dunno how to get pass 50k on my enets.
So I bought my 1st fixed 30k
Followed by 2nd fixed 40k
Total add up they allow up to 200k for Pet 2

Take note the add up total for both Dash Pet and Dash Pet 2 cannot exceed 500k.

But SDIC PPC insured if company ascend to heaven max can claim back is 100k (counted as surrender value. got to base on your s value at the time of occurrence)
so got to take note of that for those who are super careful.

am hoping no issue with the company. previously also bought Etiqa products like Gigantiq, Elastic, EasyEarn, PET which all matured and surrendered. now left EasySave which is maturing end of next year.

total + these two new PET 2 plans > $100k so am taking a slight risk here.

Treat it like endowments we bought from other insurance company. As Etiqa is under Maybank so that gives me a bit more confident. But I don't like the way their whatsapp cs handle customer. I waited for a long while before getting replies. At the end the one who chatted me seems like a robot that send me away with nothing but a note will get back via email.

Too bad my funds are tied elsewhere else I don't mind taking a bit more risk.

The sdic covers the surrender value right. In this case 4x50k, is covered yah❓or is it still the same at 100k max per pax❓ and not by policy?

Dash Pet2 is the main policy we are holding. The fixed 1 or 3 years are riders attached to the main policy. So the 100k max is based on the Dash Pet2 irregardless of how many riders you add on.

Once your policy turns active, in Tiq app you can see the total sum you have. In my case I saw $70,001. (I bought 2 riders 30k + 40k, I leave $1 in Pet2 as main policy)

So for your case let's say u bought 4 x $50k and leave $1 inside, your Dash Pet2 policy in Tiq app will show as $200,001
I believe your cover under SDIC in the event Etiqa goes heaven is max 100k

Event of touch wood we ourselves go heaven is 105% of policy sum cap at 500k.

This my interpretation. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think your interpretation is right. I didn't tot of pet2 as the main... Oh dear.
Worrying out loud: If only main is insured all of us are under sdic coverage of that $1.? ><

Precisely. That's why we must NEVER let it fall below $1. As I read somewhere it could fall below a dollar let's say they need to deduct amount from your main to pay for something. I suspect that something is some add on coverage we choose to buy along the way. I still can't find the phrase I briefly read thru. Anyway just make sure it doesn't fall below $1 else the whole thing game over. If scared just leave $50 there that's what i think.

There's a line saying earn interest from $50. I guess that's it.

I bought 4*50k and the policy number tells me the uptake is not very high. Only low double digit changes. If it's 30 policies at 200k, it's still only 6m.

Yup, can tell that the number is sequential. My 2 tranches submitted on Sunday, one was early morning, one was in the late afternoon. The policy numbers are almost identical except the last 2 digits.

Usually such insurance offering, they offer at most 100-200 million then close the tranche until they need the money again

What's the penalty if I wan withdraw?
If you want hurry do it cos 14 days free look. After 14 days i believe is surrender value. That you have to chat the cs up to find out how much you can get back for your plan.

You wait 1 day then can liao. It should change
Mine already a few days and active. Both interest rate and earned interest are 0. Only have floating interest and it's not 3% p.a.

Maybe not important also
Can yall go in rook at that policy doc
At the end of the policy doc got show total value upon maturity. This ish the most important I feel.
You should be able to get the same amount if you calculate yourself. Rook at my simple excel here:

Scared make a mistake somewhere later they say ownself daft, the app already reflected 0%.
