Mine already a few days and active. Both interest rate and earned interest are 0. Only have floating interest and it's not 3% p.a.

Scared make a mistake somewhere later they say ownself daft, the app already reflected 0%.
U click into pet2 rider. U can see 3% staring at you laa

Ensure the monies will not be needed for the entire 3 years before committing.

You will be losing a sizable chunk if you decide to surrender especially during the 1st and 2nd year.

For $10,000, you will only get surrender value of $8240 and $9018.

how much u put in already? still thinking if wanna commit 3 years..
depends on your age I guess.

3 years pass by in a blink of an eye if you're young and busy with life's pursuits.

now if you ask me to commit 10 years I'll hesitate a bit because I'm not sure if I'll still be around in 10 years' time...

Etiqa replied me.

"Upon checking, the actual formula is last monthiversary AV * daily crediting rate (3% converted to daily) * no of days since last monthiversary. There is just a small different with the straight through formula as per your calculations. "

Anyway I'll trust the final amount reflected in the policy.

You can check yours via Etiqa app (with a # sign)
Under your 3 year fixed plan
-Policy Document
-Policy illustration

The final amount after 3 years reflected is either rounded up or down to a dollar.

So all is good.

Precisely. That's why we must NEVER let it fall below $1. As I read somewhere it could fall below a dollar let's say they need to deduct amount from your main to pay for something. I suspect that something is some add on coverage we choose to buy along the way. I still can't find the phrase I briefly read thru. Anyway just make sure it doesn't fall below $1 else the whole thing game over. If scared just leave $50 there that's what i think.
I also finally found the statement

De-activate the Rider

Your rider will be de-activated when any one of the following event happens:

(a) de-activation of the Basic policy;

(b) free-look of the rider;

(c) upon Your request to de-activate the rider. The de-activation will take effect on the next calendar day; or

(d) the deduction of the daily Insurance cover charge will result to Account value in Basic policy falls below S$1.00 and Insurance cover charge for this rider is not paid by expiry date of the grace period.

When Your rider is de-activated, all Benefits under this rider will end. The rider will remain dormant and You may choose to re-activate Your rider at any time before termination of this rider occurs.

Will Etiqa/Dash deduct the basic policy balance to below 1?
The four add-ons I applied yesterday evening still show as Processing..

Anyone encounter Dash app under Grow Money unable to load page with just 2 spinning balls? Seems to happen after updating app last night.

Edit : Just managed to get in after trying whole morning.

Once your policy turns active, in Tiq app you can see the total sum you have. In my case I saw $70,001. (I bought 2 riders 30k + 40k, I leave $1 in Pet2 as main policy)
Hi @peppermint7, may I know, according to your policy illustrations, what are the maturity values for your 2 placements of $30,000 and $40,000? Are they $32,782 and $43,709 respectively? Thanks.

When signing up for the Dahs PET 2 plan, noted that it is marketing a 5-year fixed plan at 3.20% guaranteed return. At the bottom of the screen is stated information is accurate as of 30 May 2023. Wondering now if I have downloaded the wrong app or there is another version of the app. Can I check if anyone is seeing what I am seeing? Can someone also kindly let me know what they are seeing on their app? Thanks.

Initially I also tot have but later realise they must have taken that off way earlier than us taking notice of this promo. This advert was done long ago. In fact they offer this when the market was offering way better rates that's why none of us is interested until now.

I guess it applies for those who purchase those other add ons eg cancer or accidental death policies. Where they need to deduct payments. For fixed plan riders I don't think they'll deduct anything from us 🤔

Riders should turn active in a few days. I applied on 31st May turn active 3rd June.

Thank you, @peppermint7, for your reply. I was worried that I had downloaded the wrong app and daren’t proceed 😅
