if u buy from surnaburnami international airport, their data sim card is 299b for 1 week usage or 300b for one month usage, price varies from diff service provider

if you hit data limit...telco will sms you...ask if you wan to convert the unused credit to exchange for more data

usually is better to use thai data plan rather than apply for sgp roaming....cheaper...still can call back sgp for 299 baht.

299 baht for 2 days is more than enough.
me went during songkran for 8 days...299 just nice...though i got use my unused credit to xchange for more data

From what i rmb is
299b ... 1week 1.5gb data + 100b calling
300b ... 1 mth 1gb + 150b calling

yeah we bought for a week, like 299 baht, for 1.5 or 2gb, cant remember. but its enough though..cos when back to hotel we will use wifi..

For DTAC Happy users :

Want to keep your SIM card and number alive ?

Press : *113*[number of days 30/90/180]*9#
Eg *113*180*9# for 180-day extension
Cost : B2/30 day, B6/90 days or B12/180 days

I always buy B200 Happy top up card (can buy 1 or 2 ahead as they can last for 1 year or so).

Upon landing at BKK, I would do a B200 top-up and activate the 1-week B199 1GB data plan by dialing *104*28*9#. Good for a weekend visit.

In bangkok, the airport offers both dtac and ais, but i heard ais coverage is better esp if u go like the further parts of bkk. Both offer the same plans so just giving a tip the locals told me! :)
