Anyone has the same problem after stepping out from a place with no data signal like super lifts?

I need to restart 3 times so far in 3 occasions. Waited a good 5min to before I restart after stepping out of the Super lift.

Iphone 5s did not have this problem at the same lift.

Exact same issue faced on the iPhone 6. I'm using Singtel.

Singtel CSO advised to reset network settings but problem still persists.

Apple support from US mentioned that I'm using a unlocked U.S. set therefore facing this issue. Not sure if he's correct anot leh.

Any experts can shed some light on this issue? Or any one else experiencing the same problem as well?

P.S. Can activate the cellular data network again by toggling airplane mode on and off. But it shouldnt be like this right?

Did you try switching airplane mode on and off again?

I'm using a Iphone 5. Have the same problem occasionally. Singtel also advise me to reset network settings.. Its really troublesome cause I would have to key-in wifi passwords all over again. I'm surprised that this hasn't been ironed out.

Update: Singtel CSO mentioned that it may be an iOS software issue but still can't confirm.

Anyone can advise if I can go to Singtel for an exchange of my iPhone 6 with a new one? Since it is apparent that some other iphone 6 users are not facing this problem.

Bro, no one here can guarantee if you are able to get 1-1 exchange, you better call 1688 to check.

Before u do the exchange, u better be prepared to ans the tons of qns u will be thrown at before they even consider exchanging for u.

- Have u done a full reset and restore?
- Have u changed yr SIM card?
- They will force u to replicate the problem and if it isnt obvious, they will just shove it to yr face saying there isnt any issue.
- Shuttle yr set up and down the technician doing useless tests
- Tell you that signal cannot be gurantee 100% and crap

Alright, fair enough. Just wanted to check in case some other users here who encountered similar issues managed to solve it that way. Thanks for your input nevertheless.

@gardiboy thanks for your feedback bro

1) I'm assuming I have to restore to a new phone. So with that said, what if I do not wish to do a restore then since I'll be losing all my data.

2) If they're sponsoring it FOC, I won't mind giving it a try.

3) wow, most likely have to ask them to follow me down an elevator. Pretty sure I can replicate the problem.

4) Not quite sure what that means

5) Agreed, but my other iphone models are not facing this issue. And apparently, the fellow HWZer using the ip6 plus under M1 not facing this issue as well. Definitely not 100%, but at least if my current iphone 6 can perform like the other previous models I used, I'm happy enough with it.

Anyway, I just called in to 1688, CSO mentioned I should just wait for the next iOS software update and then see if I still need to head down to comcentre after that. According to him, many other users are facing weird cellular data problems including this particular case. Another one quoted by him is "can see 3G/4G but can't surf net"

Same problem here. Starhub. Tried EVERY RESET imaginable, including setting up the phone from scratch as if it's a new phone. No use.

Bought another iPhone 6 from a dealer - same same. Wanted to obtain an exchange of the first phone from Apple Store, but, I guess it would not make any difference.

Looks like the only solution is to wait for the next firmware update.

Long long has this problem...on iPhone 5, ios7, Singtel, 3G.

Sometime can see 3G, sometime 3G logo missing.

If missing, no emails come through, no internet. Need to restart phone to get back 3G logo.
