My insurance was supposed to be 12/12 in June last month, already bought a new policy in June itself for the "re-set" ... I have a feeling was that the endowment I bought was for 1 year, and since the policy has ended, it fail to register the 12th month ..... What DBS number to call to get it sorted out?

This was discussed earlier. The one yr endowment matured before 16 Jun right ? Call to appeal. Someone reported they got it after appealing.

If bought before 15 Apr 2024, policy already mature before 15 Apr 2025.

Insurance recognized on 16 Apr 2025 but policy no longer in force.

I had similar problem with my endowment. I call in and cso say the maturing mth / payout month won't be counted for multiplier no matter it's before or after the 16th of the month.

However, i appealed. The kind cso managed to fight for it. The interest was given to me the following month.

For those above 45 i didnt see any good short term endowment plans. maybe a new tranche will be released?

I usually take whatever is on offer at the point in time when I require a "re-set" for the Insurance category .... just buy the minimum amount .... I use to buy those term insurance, but thought endowment is a better option personally .... but everyone's has their own opinion ....

In the same camp as you, prefer to get endowment because it earns interest + offer protection. The other insurance the coverage is so minimal it's not useful personally.

With OCBC 360 nerfed , can I say that for salary credit accounts - DBS multiplier with insurance ( can get a full guaranteed one like manulife Savvy ) -2.1% coupled with posb Saye (3.5% -incremental savings) is the best bet now?

I'm looking also. No more manulife savvy. Not sure what to buy..

Anyone can suggest the cheapest plan to get by? Just to fulfil the Invest portion
