I also received this offer, but usually I do not put much in DBS. So DBS is desperate?

not bad leh, will you be signing up the offer?

most probably yes as I have funds avail from UOB stash soon anyway

however the CASA already earmarked during 1/9 for 100k, later gonna do some homework to calculate if worthed to annul the casa (wasting 1mth) and renew with a 200k instead to maximise the new stack, that's if it's possible to be done

It's good deal. Same here. Casa placed on 1 sep. I'm invited to sign up. Just thinking to sign up npw or wait till end month

But if you annul means casa period will be shorter. I think I'll just bring in the additional fund

actually its a no brainer

Giving up 1.58%*26/365*100k=$112.55 interests to earn 1.58%*97/365*100k=$419.89 more
i.e nett $3231 vs $2924

But needa go clarify on these either via Relationship manager or branch:
1) no other penalty fees other than forfeit of interests accrued for withdrawal of Casa promo
2) availability of Casa promo in Oct
3) possibility to register Casa promo (1.58% 4mth) again, with the multiplier account (previously registered & withdrawn in Sep)

Why need to give up? Actually can do another 100k now with 2nd placement? Or can only do 1 placement in total for casa?
i got the same invite , but TNC state first 3000 only.

not that desperate, because only selected ppl got this offer. My RM is simply and hopelessly useless to me and while not a treasures private bank client (yet), I am AI with them.

Come to think of it the opposite is true- my RM is probably saying I am utterly and hopelessly useless to him, hence he might be thinking : "forget about sending offer to this clown, not earning a single cent from him off investments/ insurance."

As far as I know. Casa promo 4mths starting 1 sep. If u place on 1oct it means it will reduce to 3months. That's my understanding. Same applied when I placed my casa in previous promo. But do update us once you find out. Gum sia😊

Unless you abort the sep placement and re place new casa on 1 Oct provided no penalty with will last for 93 days

Good observation If you know what is going on or happening in that space in the past few mthsI

In the ongoing competition to attract affluent clients, the bank is offering more aggressive incentives compared with other banks. These offers reflect the heightened urgency to rapidly increase their assets under management and secure greater market share in a highly competitive environment!
