Guys for example If take home salary credited is 2k. Spend credit $1.

If balance only 5k... no need to think about interest. It is insignificant. Go think about saving more money first lol..

Hope so too. Started with UOB one account since they launched ... Now join the DBS multiplier which I find it easier to hit even though mine is only 1.85% as compared to UOB one account which is 2.43%. Also move some money Maybank isavy account to enjoy the 1.9 and 2% interest. Actually very tempting to try stock market as price as dropped quite a lot but still considering .

Hi Guys, for credit card amount spending, do I have to spend on the first day on a month to lock in the higher interest rate?

Or it doesn't really matter when I spend because they only calculate the interest at the end of the month rather then every end of the day?

Doesn't matter. It's based on total spend in the calendar month.
Can check out your interest rate in ibanking "Bank & Earn".

Doesn't matter which day, as long it's captured within the month

Anyone encounter similar situation like this.
I went for 2 weeks ICT, so my company pay me less minus 2 weeks of salary.
SAF will pay for my 2 weeks for the make up pay for that period.
However, the SAF make up pay is credited using GIRO IBG code, instead of SAL code.
Because of this, it falls short of the $2,000, so I am not eligible for any interest for that month.
What should I do?

I doubt there's anything you can do.

Maybe next time ask your company to do the claim in make-up pay rather than deducting your pay and you requesting for the make-up pay to yourself?

why not building ssb ladder?
Hi, thanks for the tip. I just learn to build the SSB Ladder and have to wait for 6 months. Meanwhile, what is the simplest way to fill another category (I have only salary credit and credit card spend now, as my RSP has also just expired).
