Couldnt decide if to take up Cancercare for the interest on the additional $50k in Multiplier account or put this money into sti etf.

Appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

Work out the absolute value loh.. Easier to compare then..

E.g 2.2% of 50k is around 91 a month.. If ur cancer care only less than 10 u get 80 a month

do you prefer capital guaranteed but small returns or you ok with no capital guarantees, but potentially higher returns or even negative returns.

Only you can make this call.

Investment and Insurance serve different purposes, it depends on what u need more or which one give u more nett interest.

Poster seems to be suggesting putting the entire 50k into sti rather than activating the investment category

Wah $50K in STI. I don't even dare to put that much lump sum in STI.

Yes.
It may sound stupid but the purpose to get Cancercare is to clock one more category to get the additional interest.

If it's about $10 for your age, no need to think too much as interest more than covers the premium + u get extra coverage.

Not lump sum in at one go. But slowly when price reached my desired target.

So it hasn't reached ur desired target? Then of cos just keep in Multiplier first. Since u can withdraw anytime from multipler to buy Yr sti etf. And the cancer care can also cancel anytime.

G3B is not unit trust it’s an ETF.

I don’t see why not cause that’s technically a “redemption”. Got read their faq?
