Would say at least 90% for the month of oct
Interest is compounded daily.

u cannot wait till the last day of the month and put in 1,550,000 (50k x 31) and expect the full interest.

if got 1 day is $0, then u essentially get no interest for that day

If your account has 50k 27 days out of 31 days in Oct, I would say the interest credited is not right :(
U check your Oct statement and calculate the daily interest then sum up all the daily interest for 31 days. See if it tallies with interest credited to u.

Hello can please elaborate on this? Many thanks

Interest is based on available balance and not total balance.

If you did a trade with vickers, while pending settlement, the total balance will still show u have the money, but the available balance will be lower

When you do cash upfront, your $$ is moved from your multiplier into Vickers while waiting for the trade, therefore it may affect your average.

i.e. I setup have 10k in multiplier and create an cash upfront order in vickers with value of 10k for the following day. your multiplier will move 10k to vickers and park in there and your day average for multiplier will be $0.

Ah I see that is if the trade funds are from the multiplier account. The best is the multiplier account funds remain static to lock in max interest. Thanks.

Hi folks, need some advice for the termination and renewal of insurance part for Multiplier bonus interest.

My Cancercare reached its one year last month. I emailed Manulife last weekend to terminate it but yet to receive any acknowledgement from them. Just chased them again.

In the meantime, can I just terminate the GIRO arrangement with them via online banking to ensure that it won't get deducted?

I am also looking to subscribe for a new Cancercare plan with the discount code by 15 Nov. Will the new plan get a separate GIRO arrangement so that my above GIRO termination would not affect it, since the bill reference should be different?

Thanks!

If the cash upfront buy order is not filled by trading hours, will dbs vickers release or return the cash "on-hold" back to multiplier by the end of the day, so that money is considered for the day's interest?
