Hello guys so I'm trying to build a PC for my friend.

I'm going for a B350 Mobo (undecided yet) and a R5 1600 and I'm currently thinking of RAM.

There used to be a lot of RAM issues not reaching specified speed.

Does the G.Skill RipJaws V and CORSAIR Vengeance LPX sold in most SLS store will reach their specified speeds?

Unless is below 3000mhz, I believe almost no rams sold in sls can reach its rated speed.

Buy G.Skill Flare 3200, guaranteed to work at 3200. Not available in Singapore, but available at Newegg for about USD198/- for a 16GB kit (8gb x 2). Amazon also has it, but it is more expensive.

I am using it on my MSI X370 Carbon. Just go into the bios and click on overclock, and that will set the ram to 3200.

Both dont ship to Singapore so I'm out. I think I'll be going for the G.Skill RipJaw then

No problem running @ 3200Mhz using the Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mhz.
Running my Ryzen 1600 @ 3.95ghz rock solid on the Asrock Taichi MB.
