This is the real problem.
There is no close "second" or alternate currency to turn to.

By right Euro should be 2nd but the Greece and Italy bankrupt incidents showed the weakness of Euro.
RMB is too controlled by China government, won't be a major reserve currency. Maybe some to hash risk but very tough to take over USD.
