The fact is, US is not the US 30 yrs back, the world gonna see other super powers rising, it will be a multipolar world whether US likes it or not, de-dollarization will just be a matter of time.
It will only happen gradually overtime. In actual fact , is happening now for the pass few years.

too much debt will become a tipping point

Not if your creditors can do nothing to you. You can think of the debts like the protection money the neighbourhood bully takes from you. In this case a bit better as the bully gives you some token interest back for keeping your money.

basket of commodities likely with gold and oil taking the heaviest weightage.

What's the advantage? Would people like to have their pay determined in limited quantities of gold? The problem with oldbugs is that don't understand what is relevant. Things like purchase parity and standard of living. And that our ability to provide liquidity during depressions is vital and fixed supply currencies are deflationary and that this is not a good for a society. :s13:

Hard true? Is the making of itself.

Ah yes George yet again with silly posturing. He needs his head examined if he thinks the globe will ever adhere to the RMB. A closed capital account with a manipulated currency that doesn’t float. All managed by one dictator sinking under the weight of it's aging population and the unwind of globalization. Not like China won't weaponize their currency. Ask Sri Lanka, Lithuania,South Korea, Japan or Taiwan. All have faced massive economic consequences when China is upset. Good luck with that theory and enjoy the short bus. :s13:

The world is already multi polar. Individual nation exert their own soft and hard power through UN and trade. Everyone is using their own countries’ currency and other as and when its required.

The world will never be divided in the way winnie and putin want though 😂😂 Bec no sane nation wants to be under the boots of China or Russia

All the noobs take it literal.... Now is 2024 with internet, U do know every dollar printed is supported by a debt of an asset somewhere of value. Not print out of thin air for no reason.

Knowing the purpose why ppl wan to shape their messages n craft it in a way helps u further.

Again its 2024, not 1984 where we go nlb to borrow books or read newspaper... Or maybe i shld watch the world crash n burn

now many countries are buying gold to store reserve. they only need usd when trading.
Not now, countries have always buy and store gold reserves for investments and not for their currency.

Mostly kept for their value and good for hedging against economic uncertainty to mitigate risk, especially short term volatility.

Like if country want to go war need quick money, so sell their gold to raise fund. Not related to their currency strength / value.

Inflation mah, sure ppl buy gold for investment portfolio. Just that it's not being used for currency anymore for various good reasons.
