dead motherboard?

computer had been unable to turn on immediately need wait after like 30 mins later then try turning on then will power up. when it finally can start there will be a cmos fail message and after enter windows the time will be totally off.

other than that everything else works fine no random restarts or whatever until after shutdown and next day try to turn on same issue again. thought it might be the cmos battery so replaced it with a new one but the power up issue still there.

this had been going on for few days but seems like today it finally totally died unable to even power up anymore. so bought a new power supply and replaced but still unable to power up anything. thought it might be the power on button spoil so tried turning on through mobo directly also cant power up. now not even sure if the new power supply is working anot cause cant power up

not sure what other issue it could be but my instinct seems to be telling me its the mobo dead already not sure how else to test it though.

any help would be appreciated thanks in advance!

didnt think it was ram cause it totally couldnt even power up.

old power supply was FSP Aurum 500W and the new one i bought was superflower leadex ii gold 650w

ah well it lasted a good 8 years... just gonna retire the i5-2400 and other parts that cant be reused as spare backup.

gonna be the first time jumping into ryzen looking towards the 3700x after some small readings so far. considering that this pc was held on for so long without upgrading probably might be the same again.
