So I notice on black pictures, one red pixel starts to appear and then disappear. Don't know if it's considered dead or stuck. more like stuck. however this does not occur on other colors.

I also know for a fact that the 2013 rmbp is the most not repairable macbook pros out there.

thinking of getting applecare cause i think i still qualify for it as my mbp is still within 1 years old, just for insurance.

But just wondering, is dead pixels covered under applecare? dun wanna spend $300 on something that won't be of use to me.... Anyone?

The APP is worth no matter what as long as your rMBP does not face any accidental/physical/liquid damage. And even if it did, you may request for a prorated refund for your APP.

Why don't you send it for service under the limited warranty first then buy APP after that? As you know, you can buy APP anytime within the 12months period.
