Anyway, if Sg lost and you are overseas, you won't be state-less. The aggressor might continue to call this place Singapore under aggressor's rule.

You run to aggressor's allied country, you will get deport back here. If you run to human right countries or countries that sympathise with the situation, you can apply for refugee protection scheme or asylum.

If you got assets in some countries, you can get investor visa then to be PR instead of asylum.

So it is always good to have some backup plans instead of thinking it is doom.

Ukrainians already did these. Many fled to different part of Europe and USA. Those who wanted to remain, no one force them to leave. I don't know about palestinians.

During Vietnam wars, it was already done with Vietnamese integrating to US community.
