There's just too much negativity in the forums nowadays. It's not like it used to....It's depressing. If only there's a forum function that we can use to hide threads. Ha!

Anyway, I would like to ask if it is possible for me to gift deluxe membership to forumers whom I like?

Some sort of Gifting of Gold in Reddit forums..

Sometimes I feel like threads like what you described, are sort of condoned, like saga threads, racist threads, FT threads, anti-religion threads etc. are sort of condoned because the viewership and participation increase, thus it's good traffic for advertisers.

Just hope moderators and admins don't subtly support these largely skewed (and sometimes dangerous) views and opinions because they agree with them though. :X

Maybe you are right, these threads do generate tons of views and it might be good for advertising bucks. And I do understand and agree with some of their viewpoints they presented in these saga/ft threads, but they are nonetheless toxic and negative in nature.

I miss the old EDMW when it was fun and helpful.

I was hoping we can have a gifting system like Reddit where positive/helpful forumers can get rewarded.. Thus having a more positive environment in the forum.

But I think vBulletin forums unable to implement this.

We tried once with using point system but that was badly abused since it was free for all and the idea was scrapped.

So, I just want to know how do I buy Deluxe Membership as gift for forumers.
