Same for me bro. I'm also got DCP approval from MayBank. That crazy available amount is what you need to pay back to them. I noticed that they have included interest rate in that amount as well. :)

Anyway Congrats for your approval bro. Now time for you to wait for official approval letter.

Can I know your cbs rating ?

It takes about 4-6 weeks from counselling session for it to be put up to the banks for approval. From submission of blue form to counselling session takes around 3 weeks. So total timeline about 7 -9 weeks. Hence I would advise u to fill up the blue form first (I have a scanned copy of the blue form). You can PM me your E mail address if u want me to sent you. You can use it as a reference & just transfer it to the original blue form after the info talk. Submit the blue form by hand to CCS as soon as possible (following working day if possible)

For bank housing loan, sure affected lah..

17/4.. for dmp about 1 month to process right? If in future I want to apply for bank housing loan, will it be affected?

Bank loan is secured. That one is another ball game. The only concern is DMP status appears on CBS report and secured lending also depends on that damn report.

That's what I'm worried about. But really don't want to just paying minimum sum every month. I just want to settle this asap.

Solve this unsecured debt problem first. If you never take any remedy action, it will continue to snowball until to the point you cannot even pay the minimum sum.

To be honest, DMP is better than minimum sum still, for secured lending. At least the banks will see that you are able to pay off ur unsecured. Servicing min payments will not reduce the principal.
