2 cents - if you are struggling to meet the repayment plan and you choose to partially dcp (assuming bank can go through) - wont it hit your capability to pay in the end?

It doesn't sound as good plan as you technically doesn't resolve your debt issue but instead creating risk to default your DCP going forward - due to nondeclared commitment.

Not to mention perhaps this is already a no no situation

I see...But there's a point indicating that if your DCP approved amount is lesser than your outstanding balance. We have to settle the balance on our own.

Bro, DCP itself means your amount is more than 12x monthly salary. That itself is a large amount enough to be brought to court. A CSO did warn me on this before not to skip any DCP payments.

it is not true. if u owe little amount, they will not sue you.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! yeah he’s been getting annoying and I think he may be the same person as a few over accounts around here. Thanks for letting him know.

dude, this is not a blog.
You are better off writing your stories in edmw.

People are here to discuss seriously about how to pare down debts in a logical/sensible manner. Gambling is not a serious nor sensible way to pare down debts. Even if you wanna use gambling to do it, don't update here with these information as it doesn't help anyone. :s22:

2cent.

My DCP approved was $63000, excess would have been $3150+, but I needed to pay for fees for closing accounts, and also to pay the last months credit card bill payments.

In total, I got back around 2.5k in excess. Also from waiving the interests etc.

bro. that time the 5% buffer. how much excess u get back?

Thanks bro for your advise previously. I managed to get approved with DBS. 4.58% at 8 years. Managed to get back the excess payment of 6k ++ and minus off the last credit card and will have balance of 3 k plus. Enough to cover for 3 months dcp installment. By the way, DBS also have cash back $300 which is not bad. If not becoz of this forum and yourself, i wont be able to move on. Now hope to shorten the length of repayment and save at the same time. Thank You!!

Not really. I have appeal twice. Coz my amount that owe is alittle lesser than 12 times of my salary.Like $100? After 2nd appeal and they approved within 3 working days. Phew!

Hi bro, we need to find out what your Low rating was caused by. Were you chased by Lawyers before for failed payments? Are your payment cycles all AAAAAAA? And are you close to your total unsecured credit limit?

Haven been paying for 3 4 years..CBS put unsecured limit 1000..Total outstanding about 60000

Eh... that explains your Low rating. Your credit exposure is ridiculously high seeing that you have an unsecured limit of $1000, but your outstanding is 60 times your limit..

Actually how is that even possible? Did you update your income with the banks? They would compute and update CBS accordingly.

Haven been paying for 3 4 years..CBS put unsecured limit 1000..Total outstanding about 60000

Glad you brought this up. To be frank, all they ever talk about here is gambling and is unrelated to the topic of this thread.

We also believe they are the same person.

I’m also with Citi, the early repayment fee is 5% of the principle amount .
