I've been asking around, though, and some fella told me 'no no don't go CCS, they'll tell your employer and family and you'll never be able to get anymore loans in your lifetime'

I'm quite sure he's being a little extreme, and I'm also quite sure I can get my queries answered when I meet the CCS people. But seeing as it's two weeks away... anyone has any experience or knowledge on this?

For your credit cards, get late fee waivers, annual fee waivers, interest fee waivers, as much as you can!

For personal loans, get late fee waivers, and if possible, waive off early prepayment fees. Usually cannot.

For Cash line / balance transfers, get late fee waivers, interest fee waivers and annual fee waivers. Tho very few will let you waive interest fee.

Should give the document tat will give u the best chance to get approval.

Different banks have different evaluation criteria but I tink Hsbc
SCB and Maybank are the common ones being mentioned here.

Do note that different people have different credit history with the above mentioned banks so suggest to choose the one with a higher chance based on your own assessment .

While waiting for approval, do pay as usual.
When granted approval, you can get back the extra credit left in the various accounts after settlement .but do call the relevant to ask how it’s being done.

Depend on banks. Generally should be within 2 weeks.
Then will follow by another 2-3 weeks of getting back excess money.

Some banks will tell you can only request refunds after your latest statement printed out.

Ya drs is a better choice IMO. Pay a few years and faster become free again. No point paying 8 to 10years n halfway u lose the job n still go into bankruptcy. As age catch up, job also might become unstable, no motivation n marriage is another things to consider, get pawn also might go to jail.

Can't borrow anymore , still owe friends and relatives haven't pay back.Ah long kept sent me sms and called , stated 10% monthly flat rate eg borrow 5k pay 10 months , monthly 550 only. But just don't know any hidden interest or not , not try yet.

I don't think companies check on your credit status unless you declared you are on bankruptcy.

I think it might be a risk in taking HL Bank at the moment, cos once they submit your case to the registry,you had to take up whatever interest rate they offer you. There are no known cases of ppl getting DCP over here too.

Imho HSBC or BOC will be a better choice then HL Bank.

Actually i asked for their rates before i allow them to submit. He offered 5.3% with 1.5% processing fee. After which I said then I want to withdraw cos scb offer me better rates. Then he gave me a better rate than scb. 4.8% with no processing fee.

Right now DBS offer 4.58% with $300 cash rebate. Im asking them to match. He will get back to me tmr.

Why im leaning towards HLbank is cos the customer service very prompt and efficient.

DBS officer is bo chup but has good rates.

If HLbank doesn't match should I just go ahead and apply for both banks?

What if both of them approved my application?

DCP - your debt must be minimum 12x of your salary.
If your debt amount meets the above mentioned criterial.
Base on your AA credit rating, it will be easier to get DCP.

A person long time in poor , salary all go to pay debt every month , buy lottery never hit , go casino sure lose ,borrow here and there every month like a dog pledge for food , life didn't carry wealth, why some ppl can live happily, all things hv , some ppl poor like no tomorrow, is it past life has done a lot of sin, how to get rid of the sin ? In the case that you had submitted multiple applications through the bank, the first one who register you in the DCP registry will be the one covering your DCP, from what I see, if HL doesnt match, what he is offering is good too, at least the rates are better than the other banks. Do let us know your good news.
