I remember walking by the bund in shanghai, very very very cold to celebrate xmas. I will be in Shanghai in Nov.

Where to book hotel is cheaper?
Agoda and looking.com seems not much option. Trip.com

Also if going to go suzhou and hangzhou from shanghai, stay near metro station but which is better? People square? Nanjing road?

Shanghai in December is cold. The damp kind which feels colder than the actual temperature because of the humidity. Yet it does not snow and buildings are not centrally heated. I felt more miserable in Shanghai than in the north.

Air China then..no brainer. SQ ain't worth it. U can still earn krisflyer since Air China is on Star Alliance. Hate the redeyes
