Deferred ICT can go overseas

Hi guys. I deferred my reservist cause have a 6 months old baby. But wanted to bring the baby back to Malaysia for my father in law birthday during the approved deferment period. Would there be any issues ?

Should be okay. You have deferred, name not in ICT nominal roll; this is not MC.
And it's not like you'll be gone for more than 6 months (where you need an Exit Permit).

This I'm not too sure, as I've not travelled out of country for quite a while.

But definitely not an issue for TS' situation.

Yes, the new regulation is to apply for Exit Permit for travel periods of 12 months or longer. But yes, it doesn't apply to TS' situation as you've mentioned.
