Hi,

Anybody can share thoughts on which university offer reputable degrees in hospitality/tourism management. There seem to be no mention about this particular line of operation. Can somebody enlighten me as I wish to pursue one but not sure which school to enroll to.

If possible, share some overseas universities as well.

Thank you in advance, have a nice day.

Hey, you can try SIT! but...application window has already closed. Anyway, personal opinion, you don't need a degree in hospitality, get a more general degree or work first to gain the experience! that's most important for hospitality :)

There is a hospitality specialization in NTU Business and a direct hospitality degree in SIT. Both application windows are believe to have closed.

You may also choose to pursue a hospitality Specialist Diploma from NYP after any degree/diploma,

There are also WSQ-level hospitality qualifications, but it is a very practical and work-based training. It is not the university-level you are looking for.

There are currently no reputable university rankings that I know of for hospitality sector. You may want to google "top hospitality degree".

@lolkoko I have actually applied my 2nd choice as hospitality business in SIT, but i think my chances of going in is next to nothing as I only have a gpa of 3.13 in business it during my poly days. I've already applied for a job to work in a hotel and yeah, i will see how it goes from there. Just worried that I may not get promoted because i lack the papers. Thank you v much.

@intime don't think I will be able to make it locally, the private degrees here are not as impressive too. Thank you for your tips anyway, I will research more and probably make a choice after I started working.

i think once you are in the industry and been there long enough to want to stay, you can consult your bosses to see if furthering your studies during work/break from work will help you or if its unnecessary :) and which uni/course they recommend so that you will come back more valuable to your company/industry!
