Hey guys,

Have my rig >>>> for about 3years already. Now I'm just using it for web browsing and microsoft office and shows. Stopped playing games already.

Would just like to check regarding the startup beep. Usually, after turning on my pc, I hear the single short beep sound after about 2s? Then monitor displays and pc runs normally. Turned on my PC last saturday and it was fine, and shut down as per normal. But on sunday when I turned it on, the single short beep sound still came on, just that it's delayed, like about 4-5s later. But this time, my monitor doesn't display, but windows still boots up in the background! (I can hear the welcome screen sound). So I turned it off by pressing my power switch, and the shut down sound came up, and my pc turned off.

Tried offing it and turning it on again, beep still delays, but monitor displays properly now.

Anyone know what's going on? :s11::s11: Few months back I had some problems with the monitor just suddenly turn off and no signal even though pc still on (posted a thread on this). But now don't have such issues already, I think because I stopped playing games or something.

Thanks all!

Thanks for all your reply! :)

Hmm.. okay! Figured it might be my GPU as well.. But anyway, considering my usage, onboard graphics should be more than enough right..?
