Deleted apps will not sync and still in device

I have deleted many apps on my itunes but when i sync those apps remains in my iphone and ipad. this is very annoying. I also have another problem: it won't sync all updates and / or new apps on my itunes with one sync. for example, i downloaded 7 updates & new apps earlier, and when I sync, only 2 of them goes to my ipad. i have to sync THREE times to have all 7 go to my ipad/iphone. This is very frustating. Any workaround?

Hmm when you delete apps via iTunes, the deleted apps shouldn't sync over to your iPhone.. When you delete the apps via iTunes, did you select "move to trash" when prompted ?

I have no idea for the half-sync issue =/ . Never encountered it before.

The deleted apps are not removed from my iphone/ipad.

Okay I just did a test on my own, I encountered the same issue too. Apparently something changed in iTunes 11.. Deleted apps in iTunes do not cause a deletion of the same app after a sync. To fully delete an app, I've to delete it from both iTunes and the iDevice.

It appears that Apple decided to keep both iTunes and iDevice app libraries management separate ? :O

On the other hand, I do not have the half-sync issue.. I updated around 10 apps, all updates apps were synced through.

This message seems new in iTunes 11.
