DELL 2209WA Screen burn?

hey guys,
increasingly, I'm noticing a greyish shadow on the bottom-right hand corner of my monitor.
I tried using cloth to wipe it off but it stays there. it's very obvious on a bright background.

time for RMA?

yup... not burnt, dunno what is it also, but dell will exchange, i had this problem once..

dell is 3 yrs onsite.. think u can call them and quote ur part no/serial no... anyway, u shld have gotten it from Dell online yea?

guess they might rma u2311 as a replacement if they don't have stock for 2209WA...

2209WA is IPS, I guess not much different other than the resolution.

but then i still like the 16:10 aspect ratio of 2209WA...

There is no reason for them to give u an upgrade if they still have stock for the model that you have..

i called back to clarify. wanted to know which revision of 2209WA they would give me as well.
their reply was they are checking their stock at this moment.

sounds like u2311 is possible..

haha... latest rev for 2209WA shld be A03 right?

Well at least is that problem is not there.

i have a different issue now.
not sure if tint is the right word to use
the left side of the screen has a red tint while right side has a green tint.

He is sending another replacement.

the CSO told me REV A00 or A01 makes no difference, true?
