Some qns with regards to Dell Laptop..

Advisable to get the 3 yrs complete coverage. Heard its pretty pricey for any service once coverage is over..

Planning to get a Dell 6400 a couple months later. Hoepfully price will drop. Thinking of 1 GB ram and 3 yrs coverage

I would advise you to top up for 3 yrs warranty.
Not sure about the current batch of Inspirons but the 510m, 600m and older batches do run into problems after certain mileage.
The Latitudes are better built and come with min 3 yrs wty.

Anyway, if you get tired of it in a yr's time, you can always sell it and having 3 yrs wty should fetch a higher resale value.

Inspiron 4150 still running strong....hitting 4 yrs liao..(ok la.....not bragging ok...)....no breakdowns at all....except that my P4-2000 hits 92 degrees celsius sometimes and I had to remove every damn thing (keyboard...monitor....practically every single part) to remove the fan and to my horror....it's clogged with dust to the max......cleaned it....now it's running at 72degrees the max....so guys....if you are using Dell...perhaps you might want to monitor your CPU temp..=)
