Anyone bought before?

Seems like a pretty good for the U2917W. Just wondering if there's any catch besides the 1 year warranty.

No real issues. In the case of the one you listed, it was a cancelled order. They have great deals.

Obsolete model at a resolution I freaking hate.

Maximum Preset Resolution
2560 x 1080 at 60 Hz

Resolution 2560 x 1200 acceptable but not 1080.

first, 1080p for 29" is bad, at least 1440p for 27" and above

next, the aspect ratio 21:9 for that ultrawide screen will be very very very SHORT in height.

last, $389 can buy 2x Dell P2319H

in conclusion, that is why so many canceled orders.

personally i prefer to go for at least 32-34 inch for an ultrawide

High input lag, low refresh rate. TVs are not the answer for someone looking for a decent monitor

Just playing Xbox games on the TV is a waste.....

Started to use my 50" 4K Sharp Aquos in the living room for ZOOM sessions using screen mirroring.
Not bad, can see the pimples on people face.... :s13:

Dell ultrasharp series itself commands the extra premium, for the colour accuracy, resolutions and quality, 5yrs ago. A 24" ultrasharp can easily cost 2x a non-ultrasharp.

Maybe the dell standard drops... or other brands have catch up.

Actually must check each individual U series model, not all have the same color specs. But yup, 4-5 years ago, their 10 bit 27"panel is easily 1k.
