Recently my monitor has been giving me problems. Everytime I accidently bumped against my table, my monitor will flicker and turn off. Have tried unplugging the cable at the monitor end and replugging it back but to no avail. If the cable is so much as touched slightly, the monitor will turn off and I will have to touch it or shift the cable to get the monitor to work again.

Do I need to replace the power plug or sth? My warranty has ended since it has been 4 yrs alr. Any advice?

Have you tried replacing the cable?. Shift the monitor on the floor. then try moving/touching the power cable. Will it goes off also?

Any shop that sell electrical appliances. to be more specific: IEC C13 female plug.

Almost all local electrical device that use 3 pin removable plug is using this connector/plug. Audio amplifier/receiver, TV, rice cooker or look at your computer power supply.
