recently bought this monitor, crystal clear and sharp display, vibrant colors and fast response rate. most importantly 5 year warranty @$248.

additional usb hub is icing on the cake. only downside is there is no hdmi port..
loving it.. no regrets.

even if the U2312HM had HDMI support no difference in picture quality

HDMI and DVI is the same except that HDMI can carry audio also

but since this monitor no speaker, won't matter

other than the fact that you need to get an adapter.

Bought mine a few weeks ago at SLS. Main concern is the backlight bleed at the edges of the monitor. LCD (and "LED") monitors suffer from some degree because of design/ technological limitation. Mine has some backlight bleed as well but it is not serious.
