Dell U2717D Auto Rotate

Hey guys, trying to get my Dell U2717D to auto rotate when i physically rotate the screen.

So far the only way I've found is to go into Nvidia Control Panel and rotate manually which is a pain in the ass.

No option in windows display properties or Dell Display Manager. Any tips?

??? For years, there is no need to constantly flip a desktop monitor. This is not a tablet after all and almost no one keeps on changing the orientation of the monitor constantly for desktop. So no gyro feature built in the monitors to detect.

On Windows 10, easiest way is to right-click on your desktop and select 'Display settings'.
Then on the 'Orientation' tab, click and select from landscape to 'portrait'. Basically only 2 steps. Not that troublesome.

don't think there is such a feature for current monitors

what i can suggest you to do is to find an autohotkey macro that would allow you to flip the orientation at the push of the button

Im using Samsung monitors. It has auto rotate feature.
There's a sensor in monitor and you need to install a small program called MagicRotation Auto.(By Samsung)
That program auto switch to the correct orientation when you rotate the monitor.

there is a shortcut keyboard that you can use...

something like press control windows and arrow key... go google.. that what i use...
