For those interested in UHD, 24 inch UHD monitor is out on Dell's website for S$1,699.=:p

At the present moment, let's guess who will need the 4k monitor

  1. Gamers
    Nope. No game is taking the advantage of 4k display, even if it can run at that resolution.
  2. Movie/Entertainment watcher
    Nope. Commercial video/movies are blu-ray quality (HD)
  3. Video editing/ Movie maker
    Perhaps. but again, 4k market is not there yet. HD is the sweet spot
  4. Application Developers
    Only if you are developing app for tablet with Retina display
  5. Graphic/Poster designer
    The most beneficial one. Those who are designing a big poster can see the overview of a big poster in one screen without losing resolution.

Shortlist this monitor... too bad my U2410 still running exceptionally fine with 2 more years of warranty left..
