in your review you mentioned about an unused sim card slot. Are you sure?
Or is that a micro sd card slot?

Hi Windfall! The article you mentioned wasn't a review, it's just a hands-on for the Dell Venue 8 7000 we got at Dell's launch event.

As for the slot, it's both a microSD card and SIM slot actually. On the LTE variants of the Dell Venue 8 7000, that slot is where the SIM cards go in. The local ones have the microSD card slot there since local sets aren't LTE ones.

We apologize for not making it clearer in our article and have edited it to add in that point.

We just received our review unit on Friday but haven't had a chance to put it through its paces yet but we'll post a review as soon as we're done :)
