Nowadays companies like to play the 'low stock' game. Ask for Surface Book and they'll tell you low stock as well

I believe they can jack up the price for this reason....like DELL

Maybe at coming SITEX they'll lower the price to $2699 again....ha....ha....playing game again

Earlier they priced it at $2699. Now is $2899 and you got $2720.

WTF are they doing with the price? $2720 - $2699 = $21 they also want from you

No idea, now I am thinking if I should get this or wait for IT Fairs and/or the non touch version, wanted it to be as light as possible and the enjoyment of 15inch haha

For me I'll wait till SITEX comes. By then there'll be some performance reviews on the net and then I can make a better buy decision

Next IT Fair is when arh?

Sky lake is a big letdown for Desktop, most likely for Laptops as well, hopefully it isn't that bad of an upgrade lol

Just saw that it does not have full size keyboard despite the empty space on the keyboard base...? What is this

Thanks, hopefully by then I can get that FHD Non touch with 512gb SSD... If not I'll mod myself for the storage haha. The bigger battery on the 4K screen is the culprit for much heavier weight...

Reviewer video is here

According to the reviewer the battery lasts about 5 - 7 hrs (after a few cycles of charging/discharging) at 50% brightness and at 4K resolution

For longer battery life you'll need the 18000mAh (65Whr) DELL Power Companion (external battery bank)

Going by the review 84Whr default battery gives 6 hrs of usage and with the 65Whr Power Companion will give additional 4.5 hrs of usage. In total you'll get about 11 hrs.

Battery life sometimes cannot trust one haha. But still no matter what, battery life still lose to MAC due to the OS optimisation. MacBook Pro can last whole day with a lot battery remaining.

But still this one is tempting, although I find the weight abit on the high side, still waiting for the 1080p version... Last time use the xps 13, don't like the Super glossy screen unlike macbook one, also don't really find touch screen useful.
