wife and went to e&e yday, with appointment.
initially wanted weekend, but it was full. made an appointment for my wife first, as i have am upcoming appointment with Horizon @ Outram on Monday, and I have CSC claim of 50%.
Decided to change my appointment to e&e, thinking even though i'm reimbursed 50%. callee them, and they managed to slot in a same timeslot for me.
For both our procedures, we paid RM703 ≈ SG200
Polishing and Scaling - 140 × 2 = 280
Filling/Restoration - 120 × 3 = 360
X-ray - 50
Toothbrush - 13
Overall for my procedures with my dentist - it was quite good. but the dental assistant are a little passive or inexperience, always need the dentist prompting.
the dentist is always having her PPE sleeve sliding across my face and equipment hitting my tooth. other than that, she was thorough in disgnosing a sensitive molar tooth for me, giving me assurance that my pain/sensitivity was not due to crack or caivity or infection. it was due to the mercury filling, causing the sensation when come in contact with warm/cold food. she even went to double with her colleagues to confirm for me.
as for my wife, there was not much complaint, except for their suggestion to extract 1 particular tooth. the tooth was growing inward at the bottom of 2 pre-molar. previous visit to other dentist, suggest to keep it, as its supporting the 2 premolar on top. removing it, will weaken the root of the 2 pre-molar, and eventually she will need to remove the other 2 pre molar. that will mean she need to do 2 implant in future.
