Bench is going well. Could have easily gotten 5 or 6 on the last set. Obviously my squat is going to the sh*tter, which I blame on my lack of foresight and common sense. Can't use my injury as an excuse as it simply happened to coincide with the poor training sessions. 2 weeks out..at this point there's nothing much I can do but try my best to attempt a quick (extremely short) cycle of accumulation and tapering.

To be honest training no longer bothers me as much because I'm so buried in school work that I hardly have time to breathe, much less train. Found that my training intensity has gone wayyyyy up because nowadays I find that punishing myself in the gym is the only way to justify my being there instead of hitting the books. Either work hard..or GTFO.

Wasn't supposed to pause the bench but what the hell it felt quite easy anyway. I could've probably pulled a 190 beltless but I'm going to hold it since I'm 1.5 weeks out from the meet. Terribly difficult to train nowadays due to school. So much work to be done. Had class from 8am to 10.30pm yesterday, and had trouble sleeping. Sigh.

Just curious, which weight class are you competing in?

Eh 120 5x5 was for my squat lol i don't bench that much. Going in under 82.5kg...my numbers won't even let me place even if i could do them in u74.

Damn! misread that (still impressive lifts there), all the best for the meet man.
don't worry about placing (you never know tho), probably best to go for the learning experience which will benefit your future meets..

Squat getting better but ankle hurts like f**k. Stopped at the third set cos my ankles were absolutely killing me. I had to do 4 sec eccentrics on my sets just to make sure i dont bounce on them. Bench felt slow so i cut back from 4x4 to 3x3. Odd considering i got a PR for db presses (40kgx10 and 30kg*15 thereafter). Super tired...
