Hi, I am going to Desaru Coast Hard Rock Hotel end of the month. Any advice on where got supermarket to visit before I reach the hotel? Also, any advice on where to makan and play since it is a 3 days 2 nights trip. I am going to spend a day at the waterpark only.

After you leave the Desaru highway, you will be making a right turn towards your hotel. You will come across a Petronas. This is Taman Desaru Utama. There is a row of shophouses here that contains coffeeshops, KFC, 7-11 and a Pasaraya supermarket.
Tired of this Taman Desaru Utama and your hotel? There is Sungei Rengit town, which has MarryBrown, KFC, seafood restaurants and other amenities that a small coastal town would have. There is also an ostrich farm you can visit from Sungei Rengit.
