Anyone of you guys have an OCD-ish obsession with wires and cables? Ok, the benefits of good cable management when DIY-ing PCs are well known, but what about desk cable management, which arguably has not much benefits, aside from being pleasing to the eye?
My table has like a million and one cables snaking everywhere: ethernet, power supply, monitors, speakers, usb peripherals like keyboard, mouse, external hard disks, as well as chargers for phones, laptops and tablets. Also, I'm sure some ppl will have standing fans, portable aircons, etc, near their 'work/gaming-station'. Do you guys feel the need to keep the masses of cables in check? What options are there if I want to make my desk look a wee bit cleaner, in terms of cable management?
I googled this website which looks like some kind of boutique-store catering to such products, called BlueLounge. Kinda interested in those products but they are extremely expensive and I'm not sure if they actually will work (some of these cable management solutions might cause abrasion of cables or travel restraints of cable where movement is desired, like for a mouse). Has anyone tried such products and are there any cheaper alternatives available in Singapore?
