Desktop dying soon?

Hey guys,

I've the following specs of my computer, recently and now it becomes frequent that sometimes I'm unable to boot into Windows. It will just freeze there with the boot screen. If i managed to boot in to windows, sometimes the desktop would just black screen and freeze there, or either restart itself.

What could be the problem ah? Suspect the mobo or PSU problem? I just change my GFX not long ago. Shouldn't be that problem I guess?

Memory - Kingston DDR3 2GB x2
Graphic Card - NVIDIA GeForce GTX750Ti
PSU - Seasonic X-Series 750W 80Plus Gold
HDD - WD Blue 1TB
OS - Windows 10

Well this could means HDD issues though.

As in your HDD might have errors.

Do u have another PC to scan for the error.

Actually I'm not sure though, I reformatted the desktop to a clean state and it's the same. How do I test it ah?

Thanks, running the tool now. To add on, I realize that whenever I play games on my desktop, after awhile, it will freeze the entire desktop. Not when I'm doing normal usage of surfing the Web and all.

Re-sit gpu and install latest driver

Playing overwatch. Done the hdtune test and no problem on the hdd.

maybe its just that the pc hits its old age. and ask u to upgrade your rig

Haha! Okay, what may caused the issue too? The desktop was on for like 4hrs without failing me.

Just that playing game like Overwatch, suddenly the desktop would freeze. And I need to force restart the computer. usually such factor is cause of the mobo, psu, or gfx(was changed months back)

haha not sure though. causes of such issues required another working set of system to test it. and what u have done is only hdd test and noting else.

if u want to do more intensive test will be download some stress tools to find out.

but den again if u have some working system of spare parts to change out that will be nice to test it out.

I5 760 is still a capable processor for games.

I'm guessing your ram or gfx card having issues. Can try memtest to test your ram but before that go and resit your ram 1st see how

go upgrade ur ram, get a cosair ddr3-1600 2*4g ram ard 69, den c how it go.

There's no bad sector in hdtune. Actually I'm planning to get a new rig as well. But just want to fix this issue and use this as a secondary desktop for my other room. The new rig will take over this.

could be power supply or ram, can test rams using memtest86 and swap psu to see if the problem persists.

I have ran Memtest86 and no issue, I really think something is wrong because I was playing overwatch and half way it turn black screen and the monitor went to sleep mode. What could have caused this?

maybe can try stress test with prim 95 and see the temp?
