Desktop hangs quite often

I'm not sure what is the issue here but my desktop keeps on locking up randomly (which requires me to force shutdown by pressing the power button). Also, after shutting down and powering it up again, it occasionally goes into a restart loop.

I checked my ram via Windows Memory Diagnostic and it says my rams are fine. I re-fitted my rams too.

I recently changed my R9 290 to a 5700XT. I did a clean uninstall via DDU of the old drivers and installed Adrenalin 20.1.2.

Is it a power supply issue?

Try enter safe mode and see if got such issue.
Maybe is driver issue.

I entered safe mode and it went BSOD in like 20 minutes.

Currently it is in restart loop

Driver issue.
It has been reported.
New driver just came out less than 24h ago.

Currently my issue is that the computer turns on for like 5 seconds before stopping. My apologies for the confusion.

EDIT: This happens after I booted it in safe mode for like 20 minutes before it BSOD and shut down.

Is there any way I can boot it up?

remove ur gfx card and use onboard??

then can use this chance to resit your gfx card later...

I found the issue. It was one of the RAMs failing on me. Thanks for your help guys!

5700xt take less power vs 9 290. Unlikely a power supply issue unless your power supply already has some issue before that.

Check if something else been touch eg. RAM slot or loss mother board mounting. CPU heatsink get move accidentally etc.
