Need guru help, thanks!

I have a desktop pc out of a sudden turn off, then cannot power up anymore. When switch on, no beep, no image, then monitor go to sleep mode.

Monitor is working. I change power supply, install an external graphic card, change processor, all of the above do not change a phenomenon, no beep sound, so PC can't boot up.

Could it be a motherboard dead?

yes I did that, still the same. I did short CMOS jumper, waited for 10 sec than turn on. I did boot up once. Thereafter, totally dead.
