Hi all,

Will like to have recommended shops in sls to help me assemble a rig.
budget is around 1.5k to 1.8k without monitor, keyboard and mouse but required an OS.

Btw if i purchase the samsung SSD EVO 250gb from lazada and ask the sls shop to assemble together is it ok? any extra charges?

Thanks in advance!

Depends on what shop also. Some shop assembles for u free some charges u like 20 for it. Buying a ssd online doesn't affect this.

Feel free to take a look at my build in the meantime before the rest of the bros here give u a full system recommendation.

Mine costs about 1600 and got it at tradepac. Ssd and ram got from amazon cus cheaper.

Built it myself though so you have to factor in this as well, some store 'craftsmanship' not as good as others and you are better off doing it yourself. Go to pcthemes if you want them to build for u or tradepac the best price(but best to build yourself).

Given the choice I would probably have gone for a cheaper mobo cus not really much diff. Get a better casing as well since your budget is bigger than mine was back then.

Last piece of useful advice would be to not go over ambitious and always stick to the target you set, alot of eye candy feature out there but is that what you really need anot you have to decide. Always compare at least a few store to prevent any carrot chopping incidents.

Still using the PC on your profile >>> ?

Are you intending to bring over all those HDDs? How about ODD? Are they all running off SATA or IDE interface?

Do you still need a new one then?
