Desktop repair

I hand itch go change power strip.. Then when I plug back the power.. My desktop not running at all..
No beep sound from mb
Fan not working
Tried changing the power cable 3 times still can't power on..
How ah..
Anyone with same problem before..
Is it motherboard or psu issue

My specs as per on the right.. Very old model.. Set up about 5 years back.. Motherboard spoilt then up lorry ah

May i ask what you meant by changing the power strip? You meant you change the power cord? Have you tried a different plug/socket? Is your PSU switch behind on? If you have a spare PSU, i suggest you try using the spare PSU first.

Yes I mean I m using those power strip to connect multiple plugs. Monitor.. Pc.. Speaker..

I did tried changing different power plug but to no avail..

No spare psu.. Might try testing the psu this weekend by shorting the circuit

Can you try using a single socket for your desktop, do not use the power strip. As it might sound weird, but previously i have one friend who used the power strip, his PC was not getting enough power. I came to that conclusion when i told him to try using a dedicated socket just for his desktop and it works.

Thanks I tried that too.. Not working.. I dont mind if it's my psu chui.. If it's motherboard.. It's almost as good as dead...

Where do you stay? If nearby maybe i can help you out. did your house trip prior to powering on the PC?
