Hi guys, I bought a new mbx and ram a fortnight ago. The reason why I decided to change my mbx and rams is because of the fault I have been experiencing. Apparently after changing both parts I have bought, the problem still exist.

My screen turns white while I was running YouTube. When I want to access to my football manager game, it hangs. I was wondering if the fault lies on the graphics card. My graphics card is 3 years old now. Previously whEn my mbx is still warranty, the technicians told me is my Mbx failure and I manage to get a warranty exchange. So that time when the problem surfaced again, I was quick to assume that it could be my Mbx giving me this fault again. So I decided to buy a new mbx. But now I facing the same old problem again. Guys, I really need some help here as I am spending too many worthless money here and there already. Could it be my graphics card or rather OS issue? Thank you so much for your help and advise. I really appreciate you guys could help me

By the way guys, my mbx model is Asus p8z77-v lx

Remove the graphic card and use the onboard video. If this problem goes away, it's either your graphic card or driver issue.

Sorry for asking this, what if the problem is the driver issue? How can I go about doing it?

No need to say sorry. It could be the graphic driver is corrupted. Download the latest driver from graphic card manufacturer's website.

Thanks all for your generous feedback. I have tried taking out my graphics card and using the one on board. I run Youtube for 15 min and it works well. I currently trying to install the new drivers for it and see if the problem remains. However, I got some issue here. I am not very sure which links I should download or specifically which one I should install. Could someone assist on that aspect? Really sorry about that. Below are the spec of my current desktop:

Processor
i5-3470
Mainboard
ASUS P8z77-V LX
Graphics Card
SAPPHIRE HD 5850 Xtreme 1GB GDDR5
Memory
Kingston PC 12800/1600MHZ DDR3 CL10 VALUE RAM 4GB
Display
LG 23"
Storage
WESTERN DIGITAL 465GB
Casing
Cooler Master
PSU
Andyson 530W
OS
Windows 7 HOME 32bits

However, my OS I still have not activate yet as I directly borrow it from some other people. Should I get a proper OS of my own with my very own activation number?

HD5850 is a 2-generation ago card, so high chance is the card going up lorry.

Thank you guys for your valuable input. I really appreciate that help a lot.

Assuming I want to get a new graphics card, any brands or models to recommend? By the way, the type of games I play are not very high-end. I usually play Football manager and NBA 2k.

In addition to that, I have another 4gb ram with me. But i didn't use that as most sources suggested that it does not operates well in 32bit system. Is that true? Should I get a 64 bit OS instead?

Thank you.

It's a fixed limitation in 32-bit OS. You'll get at most 3.5GB-ish max of usable RAM no matter the amount you have installed. The only way forward to use all available RAM is to move on to 64-bit.

Went from 3.31GB to 7.98GB usable RAM on my school laptop with 8GB installed after switching to 64-bit :)

Those games just need a 7750 or 7770. Green camp is gtx650 or gtx650ti will do.

Range from $122 to $190

Hi people, for graphics card I am thinking of getting ASUS one. For GTX 650, there's O.C DDR 5, TOP DDR5, TI O.C DDR5 and TI BOOST DCII. I would like to know what's the difference among these few? If I getting one for my desktop, any advise? Thanks guys!
