hi all,
recently my desktop just reboot suddenly without any warning.
after it reboots and proceed to the starting window screen, my desktop will just reboot again like a loop until i manually power off.

any idea whats wrong?

my desktop is 3 yr old but have recently upgrade my ram to 8gb and graphic card to powercolor 7870 myst. using a andyson 500w as my psu.

i have replaced my cmos battery but that doesn't help.

is it likely that my psu dont have enough juice to power the system or are there other factors?

Most likely a case of overheating.

Check all your fans are working correctly, clear all the dust on the heatsink.

You should be able to rectify the fault.

40-44 is normal. Will you be able to check physical connection and make sure they are properly connected. Also you might wanna re-sit the RAM and GPU. See if it's of any help :S

it could be your ram

try using back your old ram

or it could be your video card driver conflict if u didn't remove the old one completely

try the old ram first

Yes based solely on the age your motherboard should be gone. Do you notice that manufacturer only provide max 3 year warranty for motherboard.

I had many mb in the past non lasted more than 3.5 yr be it asus msi or even asrock.

Even if it not the component that is spoilt now it is coming soon.

But ti be extra sure bring it down to sls shop 2-32 and look for nigel. Let the expert help it since it is not simply a ram swap issue.
