Hi
under Device Manager, Portable Devices, there are yellow exclamation marks on Compact Flash and Flash Reader. These are also the only two items I can see at the moment.
Under properties it says : This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
I tried to update drivers but it says drivers are already the latest, which is the WPD FileSystem Volume Driver.
My portable hard Disks, Printers, Smart Phones, Cameras all cannot be connected at moment. There will be a "dump dump" sound but nothing happens next.
I tried to uninstall and install driver again and yellow exclamation will go away. But devices still cannot be detected. When I restart, the yellow marks came back again.
My system is running on Windows 7 64 bit home premium edition. I suspect this error occurs by itself after a windows update some months ago whereby no restore point was available.
Does anyone got any advise for this?
