Hello everyone of Money Mind forums! It has been a pleasure reading up all the information provided here.

I have decided to log my trading journal here. A mentor (not with regards to this aspect) once told me that it is important to have a journal. This way, you can see how far you have grown/covered since the start. As such, I have decided to log my trading journal here. Not sure if it is allowed?

As a fresh start, my account will only have SGD 10,000. I trade forex, metals and indices, although mainly I focus on yen pairs and gold. I do not consider myself to be an expert of any sort; in fact I'm a newbie. I am happy to share whatever thoughts/views I have, but please do take them with a pinch of salt if anything at all.

The aims of this trading is to:
1. Generate more wealth
2. Improve my lifestyle.

I will be focusing on XAU/USD on Monday. It had a very interesting week, pushing above 1200 on Thursday but failing to close above the support of 1195 on Friday. However, a strong southward move was also rejected at 1180, paving some hope for bulls. I believe XAU/USD will continue to trade in range and as such, there will be plenty of opportunities to enter both buys and sells positions.

XXX/JPY

I know many people are very bearish on yen pairs, but the truth is, after a week of trading, yen pairs are up by at over 100 pips. Friday saw a fairly substantial selloff in the yen pairs but there can be a few reasons for it: Trump, closing of trades for the weekend and just general profit-taking. I'm no expert so I'm just making a guess.

I am looking at potentially entering buy positions but looking for a good entry and bullish confirmation. With Trump and tariffs looming, I think it is important to get good entry for yen pairs.

I know there are many forex scams who ask you to sign up for trading courses, but I'm just detailing my journal here. Not allowed?

I can't post charts yet, but I am trying to give informative input?

Sure! On 13 September, I was selling XAU/USD. Throughout the week, it was making lower lows and lower highs, with the resistance marked at 1205 (since broken).

On 14 September, I sold EUR/JPY as I felt that it was rejected at resistance 131.10 and a pull-back was due.

Do you trade too? What do you trade?

Keep the trading journal to yourself, that way you will be able to review and go back to your trades for reflection without the clutter of the general discussions here. I think there is another thread here focusing of trading, perhaps your trades are good topics in that area.

Unfortunately, forum isn't your personal blog.
If you wish to, you can use dedicated blog services or even set up your own website.

Eventually, the mod will come and close this down, just like they did to others who did what you are doing.
