Season 1,2,3 all were great.....
Season 2 is best, followed by Season 1 and lastly Season 3....

Read Season 4 is the best with John Lithgow as the serial killer.

John Lithgow is an excellent character actor. He portrayed ingeniunity as the serial killer and flaws as a person, two different traits that rarely come together in one character.

Season 2 was mostly about sex and revenge.

Season 3 tried to veer into the mentor direction but sort of fell flat.

I'm keen to see how Dexter handles his "indulgences" while balancing work as a single parent.

So Season 8 has ended. And the ending is, like, WTF! Sigh, disappointing end to a great series.
